A Congratulations is in Order
Congratulations to everyone that voted against Same-Sex Marriage. We won, now we can begin to live in a United States that oppresses people and condones hatred and inequality, I never dreamed I’d see the day, I’d say that Im the Ann Nixon Cooper of hatred. </sarcasm>
Seriously though, I hope that everyone that voted to Eliminate Rights of Same-Sex couples realizes that we have taken the first step as a country in eliminating the rights of mankind in general. Americans have been fighting inequality since we landed here, and now we’ve taken a giant step backwards.
Everyone that voted to Eliminate Rights of Same-Sex couples for the ’sake of the children’, I hope you are ok with your children being taught in their history classes about how hateful and oppressive their parents were way back in 2008.
And please remember to spread the hate this holiday season.

But God hates gays, right? Besides, I don’t think God wants us to treat each other as we would like to be treated. If He did, He would have said so. Oh wait… He did say so. Ah the hypocrisy of religion.

Sorry, your words of wisdom didn’t impress me in the least. It seems though, that you got your point out about your hatred. Not so sure it is only with the way the vote went. The problem with the world today is that, morales have vanished…bad subjects and acts and are forced in our face through the NEWS Media. It is brought up soooo much and for so long, and so many people get away with the wrong things, that it just becomes accepted…because the ones that are not causing all the problems seem to get fed up and then give up…and little by little our world, as we see it today, has become a “big bowl full of fruits!” And too many of them seem to be rotten. If the news media would start broadcasting an equal amount of good, happy, enthusiastic views, more and more people watching would quit just accepting the bad, and start working harder to get the world and its people back on track…Instead of all the whining, we need to be more thankful for what we have and quit wanting more. We as a nation, have more than our ancestors could have ever imagined..and instead of being thankful, we have just become greedy and unusually unhappy. I say, we all need to SIMPLIFY…and pray to GOD, that he will forgive us for messing up so much.

sorry, it’s me again…Some people never find satisfaction in the things they do have, but spend their entire lives wishing for things they don’t or can’t have. They are never happy with where their lives are going, they feel empty in their relationships, and therefore they find it impossible to give thanks for the many blessings they have been given…and don’t forget…God made Adam and Eve…not Adam and Steve! and don’t forget how you were brought up! Gay rights…I don’t think soooooooooooooo

This shouldn’t even be an issue, it was just a clever distraction brought up by the neo-conservatives in 2004 to shift the public consciousness away from the true issues of the day to something divisive enough to get center stage.
That said, when something has legal implications and affects the way people are treated in our society by our government it is categorically morally wrong to discriminate. We definitely don’t need an amendment to the constitution of all things to rest people’s minds regarding a definition in a dictionary… duh… what is marriage? Gee, I don’t know, let’s look at the Constitution, son.
Fifty years from now people are going to view these amendments in the same way Jim Crow laws are viewed today, with incredulity at our suggestible ignorance.

i can’t wait for vokle to launch so i can see debbie and cory have at it…(LIVE AND UNMUTED /sarc).
to add fuel to the fire…debbie don’t u think a god of love would love gay people?
that a god of love, by definition, would be infinitely understanding, infinitely loving, and infinitely accepting?
furthermore, if god created the universe and is omniscient, didn’t he essentially foresee gay people’s existence long before creating the universe (of gay people) in his image?
and knowing that he would essentially be giving life to gay people, decided it was a good enough idea to go with?
i think by assuming that god made adam and eve, it was full well knowledgeable that on a relational level he was creating adam and steve by extension.
what can i say? it seems that god loves gay people!! sorry i’m being so ANAL about it..but i suppose god planned this entire debate for us from the getgo…and he personally created a world of gay people…hell, he probably foresaw this blog post too….u see it’s all part of the plan!!!
gay people = awesome = god’s plan
of course, it’s so simple!
::spreads wildfire::
don’t mind me.

Hey Vokle good job you are doing here! Freedom to speak from the heart can be powerful. Everyone here seems to be talking about bringing God into the “gay marriage gig”. Infinitely loving Robert K. you are right on; and as I think Cory said, “Ah the hypocrisy of religion”, oh how true, man has caused such diverse hypocrisies under the illusion of religion, but ahhh is that not how we can control the masses??? Ian Serlin how right I think you are about “clever distraction” under the guise of “issues”…how true! Debbie Daniel how true, “its not about hatred”. My take is to use your own observations, along with mine to state, “God is so Infinitely loving of all mankind, its not about hatred when he said “love me and then love your neighbor as yourself”, but under the hypocrisy of religion created by man, mankind uses clever distraction(s) in a timely manner, to further his quest to be “the powerful one”. Could the day come when the little people at the bottom look up at “them”, as they scratched their heads saying, “how that happen”…??….

God is Love. True! but above all, He’s Holy. In all of God’s glory and power, there are also things that He couldn’t do. And that is to sin and contradict himself. If he said that being gay is an abomination, no way, is he going to take it back. because, then, He’d be a liar.
