Go figure. He basically predicted the housing collapse and its ultimate effect on the stock market and credit market. He even went on to say that the govt may even try to step in with tax payer dollars and bail out failing companies. Of course he was laughed at during interviews years ago when he mentioned all of this during news interviews. Now that it has all come true, they say he "predicted" all this. He admits he can't predict the future, he just studies history and sound monetary systems. I dont know what the hell this country is doing voting for obama and mccain. I spoke to a registered republican today here in Los Angeles, and he doesn't like either candidate...but he says he prefers republican (mccain). Sad times indeed. I'm a huge fan of limited government and really wish the country would realize that we do not need the government to run every aspect of our lives. Life was better in this country before the Government started to run every aspect of it. The Republicans used to favor limited "small" government but as of late they do not show that any longer. Barr, and the Libertarian Party, want to get the government back out of our lives and let us run our own lives again. I'm all for that. I'm personally not to knowledgeable of McKinney or Barr. I like a lot of Chuck Baldwin's ideas, but am personally put off by his potential belief/backing of a 9/11 Truth movement.
